Sound Design

With tools and techniques of non-linear audio production, I remixed sound of The Scarecrow Game Trailer made by Chipotle. I integrated and designed sound with Pro Tools and Recording Room, and allowed narrative media to communicate and conceptualize with sound. Original purpose of the short film was to advertise the game. However, after the remix, It became a totally new art piece with lots of artistic values. Through the project, I have improved listening skills, raise awareness of my aural experience and sonic environment. Also, how to use Pro Tools and Recording booth to Design and Record sound.

I have worked within a design process mirroring real world standards on a variety of projects ranging from network branding, product commercials and title sequences. I learned how to cultivate a strong production process, from research, concept development, creative problem solving, asset/content creation, to final execution. I continually explored relationships with commercial and fine arts and also the fundamental of time-based graphic motion, with particular emphasis on typography, image, and narrative sequence. I challenged myself to develop concise yet powerful presentations, literal or abstract ideas, and move step-by-step through the development process, from storyboard to final rendering.
